Double Chocolate Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 210 g Butter 7 oz
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Baking Pan

  • Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with butter. Line it with parchment paper and lightly grease the parchment for easy removal.

Melt the Butter

  • Place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in short intervals until completely melted, stirring between each interval.

Mix the Sugar and Cocoa

  • Add the sugar and cocoa powder to the melted butter. Mix thoroughly for 3–4 minutes until smooth and well combined.

Add the Wet Ingredients

  • Mix in the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat the mixture for about 2 minutes until smooth and glossy.

Fold in the Flour

  • Add the all-purpose flour and gently mix until no dry streaks remain. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies fudgy.

Add the Chocolate Chips

  • Fold in 1½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Fill the Baking Pan

  • Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.

Top with More Chocolate Chips

  • Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter.

Bake the Brownies

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C)f
    Time: 40–50 minutes

Cool Before Slicing

  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting them into squares. This helps achieve clean slices and the perfect fudgy texture.
  • Do not overbake if you prefer extra gooey brownies.
    Let the brownies cool completely before slicing for neat slicing.
