These Fudgy Brownies are rich, gooey, and loaded with chocolate flavor. Made with cocoa powder, butter, and semi-sweet chocolate chips, they're easy to prepare and bake into the perfect homemade dessert with a soft, chewy center.
Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with butter. Line it with parchment paper and lightly grease the parchment for easy removal.
Melt the Butter
Place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in short intervals until completely melted, stirring between each interval.
Mix the Sugar and Cocoa
Add the sugar and cocoa powder to the melted butter. Mix thoroughly for 3–4 minutes until smooth and well combined.
Add the Wet Ingredients
Mix in the eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat the mixture for about 2 minutes until smooth and glossy.
Fold in the Flour
Add the all-purpose flour and gently mix until no dry streaks remain. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies fudgy.
Add the Chocolate Chips
Fold in 1½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Fill the Baking Pan
Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly using a spatula.
Top with More Chocolate Chips
Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter.
Bake the Brownies
