Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Milk whole
  • 2 tbsp Chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • Butter or oil for greasing the mug

Instructions
 

  • Lightly grease a large microwave-safe mug with butter or oil.
  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder to the mug or a mixing bowl.
  • Pour in the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Mix until the batter is smooth and no dry flour remains.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared mug if you mixed it separately.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips on top.
  • Microwave for 60–90 seconds, depending on the power of your microwave, until the cake is just set.
  • Let the mug cake cool for 1–2 minutes before serving.
  • Every microwave cooks differently, so begin checking after 45 seconds.
    Do not overcook the cake or it may become dry.

Notes

Use a large mug to prevent the batter from overflowing while cooking.
Enjoy warm for the best gooey chocolate texture.
