For the Beef Rolls 2 lbs 1 kg thinly sliced beef 2 tsp salt 2 tsp red chili flakes 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp garam masala For the Filling 7 oz 210 g cream cheese, softened 1 oz 30 g green chili, finely chopped 1/2 oz 15 g fresh cilantro, finely chopped 1 oz 30 g walnuts, chopped 1 oz 30 g peanuts, chopped 1 oz 30 g almonds, chopped 1 oz 30 g dried cranberries, chopped For the Tomato Sauce 1 tbsp ghee 2 oz 60 g onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves minced 3 cups passata 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp chili powder
Prepare the Beef Rolls Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the beef slices with salt, red chili flakes, black pepper, and garam masala.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, green chili, and cilantro. Mix until well combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each slice of beef.
Sprinkle walnuts, peanuts, almonds, and cranberries over each slice.
Roll each beef slice tightly and secure if needed.
Place the rolls in a lightly greased baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Prepare the Tomato Sauce Heat the ghee in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and softened.
Stir in the passata and lemon juice.
Add the salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Mix well and bring to a gentle simmer.
Finish the Dish Add the baked beef rolls to the tomato sauce.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Gently turn the rolls and cook for another 2 minutes.
