Ginger Cut into small pieces or julienne Honey Enough to cover the ginger pieces
Preparing the Ingredients
Peel and wash the ginger thoroughly, then let it air dry overnight.
Cut the ginger into small pieces or thin julienne strips.
Add the ginger pieces to the sterilized glass jar.
Adding Honey
Pour enough honey to completely cover the ginger.
Let it rest at room temperature for a couple of days.
The honey will become more liquid as the ginger releases its moisture. Stirring
Stir occasionally.
Refrigerate
After a couple of days, refrigerate the jar.
