Ingredients
  

  • Ginger Cut into small pieces or julienne
  • Honey Enough to cover the ginger pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the Ingredients
  • Peel and wash the ginger thoroughly, then let it air dry overnight.
  • Cut the ginger into small pieces or thin julienne strips.
  • Add the ginger pieces to the sterilized glass jar.
  • Adding Honey
  • Pour enough honey to completely cover the ginger.
  • Let it rest at room temperature for a couple of days.
    The honey will become more liquid as the ginger releases its moisture.
  • Stirring
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Refrigerate
  • After a couple of days, refrigerate the jar.
  • How to Consume:
    Enjoy daily on its own or mix into tea or warm water to help soothe cough and cold symptoms during seasonal changes and colder months.
    Storage Tip: To increase the shelf life, air dry the ginger completely after washing.
